January 6th saw Capitol Hill stormed by thugs loyal to President Donald Trump. It will now go down in history as one of the darkest days in American political history. Sadly 5 people lost their lives as a result of what some in the media referred to as a coup. The dead included one police officer. Many people are saying this is when America's 45th President, Donald Trump's House of Cards came crashing down.

Bandofla is back across the pond for a special episode dedicated to reporting on the shocking events that saw the home of American democracy reduced to a riot scene - we will also be touching on the Democrat success in Georgia where Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock are now Senator-elect. Our congratulations ot them both. Discussing these subjects with me is Robbie Scott who is a UK Trade Unionist and Labour Party activist, who was a part of the Democrat's Organising Academy helping to seal Joe Biden's success last November. Robbie gives his view on the events of the last few days.
