Welcome back to Awakened Exchanges! I’m your host Jay Rich and this is just going to be another quick little message, even quicker than Christmas Eve. As I’d mentioned last week, I’ve had a couple of cancellations and postponements this month, and as New Year’s got closer and closer, I wasn’t really sure that I’d release an episode at all. I didn’t want to do release an episode without an interview twice in a row, simple as that isn’t much of an “exchange.” I was hoping that this week would get us back on our normal recording and release schedule so we didn’t end up going dark for a week, but alas, no such luck. I know that scheduling guests can be tough, but I apologize that I didn’t have a contingency plan setup for this yet. I have dozens of people that all say they want to get on here and talk, but actually getting them to sit down for an interview has been more difficult than anticipated. Now that that’s all been said, I just wanted you all to know that I’ve decided to take a week or so off to reorganize the podcast a bit, hopefully get in an extra recording or two, and then pick it up strong for the New Year! We’ve been airing on Thursdays, but we might actually change that to earlier in the week going forward. Our next episode will have more information for the upcoming year.

Before I go, I want to start this year off right by once again thanking everyone who is listening thus far. This really has been an incredible experience, even with the unexpected difficulties of a new endeavor. I definitely appreciate all of you listeners out there bearing with any of these early bumps and I’ll keep doing my best to bring you new episodes each week.
