Estate planning is a topic that we are all faced with at some point in our lives. It’s a topic we don’t like to discuss, whether it’s with our parents, a family member or even ourselves.

However, we’ve come to learn that even though these conversations and planning can be uncomfortable, they are needed and necessary.

With will and estate planning, we include our wishes, and the Power of Attorney for Property and Personal Care. If we have children, we make sure they are included as well. But what about our pets and the animals in our lives? Why aren’t they included in this planning? Good question right?

In this episode, we are going to dive into the aspect of Estate Planning For Pets and the educating of advocating for animals as well to ensure that they will be taken care of should the unfortunate circumstance happen to us where we are unable to do so ourselves.

You will learn not only how to estate plan for your pets, you'll realize the importance of all of this and receive access to a FREE resource from a lawyer that specializes in advocating for pets.

His FREE kit he offers gives you all the tools in order to understand more and become educated in just exactly how to do this.

About Steven Klein:
Steven Klein has been practicing law in the GTA since 1994 and has been active in the animal rescue community for over 20 years. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada at a young age.

Steven attended York University for his undergraduate studies and majored in economics. He then went to Osgoode Hall Law School after undergrad and graduated in 1992.

From the early days in his career, Steven has always tried to take on matters where he felt he could make a difference. Two of his most notable matters were successfully keeping a local library from being closed by the city for commercial redevelopment and helping families with children suffering from autism from having their critical government funding from being cut off at the age of six.

After working for various firms over the years, Steven decided to open his own firm and focused on estate planning and corporate matters. Since this time, 7 years ago, he has never looked back.

Steven is a father of two wonderful adult children and currently has two feline fur babies. He loves dogs and although he feels his two spirit dogs closely with him, he expects to adopt another four legged canine in the not too distant future.

His true passion is animal rescue and Steven has volunteered for numerous animal rescues, both as a front-line volunteer and providing legal services to the rescues as well as fostering, transports, and fund raising. Steven loves playing hockey and watching professional sports (hockey, football and baseball).
