Understanding Emotional Dysregulation, the Neuroscience of Self Compassion and  Mental Health

 

We all have those days when everything seems overwhelming, and our emotions get the best of us.

 

Emotional dysregulation is a common challenge for entrepreneurs, impacting our mood, anxiety levels, decision-making, and overall mental health.

 

Recognizing and addressing this issue is vital for both personal and professional growth.

 

In this short dialog, I open up one of my favorite mentor's work around NEUROSCIENCE and INTEGRATED FELT RESONANCE.

 

Everybody has something about themselves that they don’t like; something that causes them to feel shame, to feel insecure, or not “good enough.”

 

How do you think things might change if you responded to yourself in the same way you typically respond to a close friend when he or she is suffering? 

 

As you listen - I invite you to keep your heart open and help you care for and nurture yourself at the same time you’re caring for and nurturing others.

In closing, close your eyes and take a moment with the brief Mindful meditation to support your brain in a more compassionate place to live with Resonance through healing language, and neuroscience for a full-body brain experience.

 

As you develop a deeper sense of self-warmth and compassion, your relationship with your own mind will change and you can start living more harmoniously with yourself and others.

 

When our emotions are regulated in our bodies: we meet the amygdala and the prefrontal cortex (PFC), and learn about the importance of fostering a healthy relationship between the two.

 

Self Compassion - is learned through being in a relationship with others.
