INSIGHTS 019 // AIRCODE - 'Grounded', Alien Jams & Creating a Unique Sound

In this episode, we are really thrilled to be joined by a truly singular producer and an artist we have been extremely fond of for a while now on the show, following two standout EPs for Nostro Hood System and Alien Jams. Almost exactly a year ago to the day, aircode dropped her stunning debut album 'Grounded', also on Alien Jams. These records all showcased a truly unique and otherworldly approach to what you may broadly call soundsystem music, however, that doesn't quite do it justice.

Over the course of this interview, we begin by discussing Julia's early years and formative experiences, living in Gothenburg and moving to London before diving deep into her influences, creative process and the making of 'Grounded' for the album's one year anniversary!
