In this episode of Awake All Hours, we announce our first party at Spanners, Brixton and give our thoughts on the experience so far from the perspective of a trio of promoter newbies! - Ali begs everyone to come and Will and George threaten to operate a Berghain-esque entry policy / compulsory electronic music trivia quiz on arrival. We follow up by sharing our experiences at recent club events, featuring an All Centre takeover at the afore mentioned Spanners, the debuts of Joy Orbison and Batu’s ‘Just For You’ & ‘Tunnelvision’ parties, and a blissful deep listening session with Sybil, Dan Nicholls, Lou Zon & BMO at Strange Brew.

We then dive into album reviews which features a highly-anticipated debut full-length from Manchester’s Iceboy Violet, a subtle and intricate experimental club record by Aircode and Grey Code’s new 4K ultra HD drum and bass epic for Metalheadz!
