Before embarking on his writing career, Seamus Heffernan worked in education, journalism, marketing and politics, and earned an MA in criminology from the University of the Fraser Valley. He's called several places home, including a lengthy stint in London, England. He currently resides in British Columbia, where he splits his time between Abbotsford, Mission and Vancouver.

Heffernan's new book, "Napalm Hearts," is a rip-roaring P.I. novel set in jolly ol' England. Thaddeus Grayle is a bored American private investigator, recently divorced, who takes a case from a wealthy businessman desperate to find his hard-partying wife. Of course, things only go progressively more wrong from there.

On this edition of "Noir on the Radio," we talk everything from pulp-fiction influences to comics to the best ways to write. Check it out!
