Debut novelist Marco Carocari visits OutWithDan to chat about BLACKOUT. The novel is mostly set in current day Manhattan (2016) with flashbacks to 1977's Blackouts in Manhattan. Franco witnesses what he thinks is a murder in the "empty" building across the street. But when the police cannot find a body, Franco's credibility is questioned. Then unexplained coincidences begin to happen. And is it possible those coincidences could possible be tied back to Franco's own father's brutal murder during an intense blackout in 1977. Or is Franco just off? This tightly written book will have you guessing until the very end.
