Today you're going to be hearing from English stand-up comedian Rosie Wilby. By the time Rosie had even gotten into stand-up comedy she'd already had a pretty great career, journalism, music journalism, then fronting a band during the hayday of Britpop, all of that before deciding to become a stand-up.
So, of course, we spoke about all of that and we spoke about her natural inquisitiveness, finding inspiration in everyday life, being personal onstage.
We also spoke about her comedy influences, both past and current. We spoke about Rosie being a prominent figure within the LGBT comedy scene in Britain, where feminism is in 2016. Rosie gave a wildly popular and much lauded TedTalk last year entitle "Is Monogamy Dead?" a talk, obviously about monogamy, relationships, breakups, open relations and the surprising fact that she found out that women cheat far more than men.
