Greetings, Eorzeans! Welcome to the newly-launched home of Astral Era, a Final Fantasy XIV podcast. My name is Derek Heemsbergen, and I'm joined by two co-hosts: Jeremy Wyatt and Wulf. Yes, just Wulf. He's our Deep Throat, except...Eorzean. He's corrupt, but only where it matters.

Today, in our inaugural episode, we run through some brief introductions before discussing Wulf's discovery of The Hunt and Companion Chocobos, changes in the newly-released Patch 4.06, current class balance, and the new wearable goodies arriving in The Feast Season 5 and the Moonfire Faire.

We welcome any comments, questions, tasteful nudes (Wulf's directive, not mine), or any feedback you have for us! We're still fresh, which means there are bound to be roadbumps.
