Laresa "Lala" Golpashen

Episode 124 - Laresa “Lala” Golpashen is a singer and composer from Urmi, Iran. She began singing at age 18, and has begun working with Assyrian poet and activist Nineb Lamassu and has recently released a duet with Assyrian singer Emmanuel Bet-Yonan. In this episode, we talk to Lala about her music and singing, Assyrians in Urmi, and what’s next for her music career.
