On this episode of our podcast, we delve into the topic of gestational carriers and cancer. Our guest is Dr. Beth Rackow, an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and the Director of Pediatric and Adolescent and Oncology. We explore how she works with women who need to urgently think about their future fertility and reproduction after a cancer diagnosis. We also discuss barriers that may affect people using gametes in the future, and how gestational carriers can come into play for those who may not be able to carry a pregnancy. Tune in to discover more about fertility preservation and the role of gestational carriers in this process.
