Bright HealthCare is pleased to announce new options for Floridians who are eligible for Medicare Advantage (MA), Marketplace, and other healthcare plans in Sarasota. Residents in Sarasota and the surrounding counties will have access to Bright HealthCare’s Individual and Family Plan, (IFP), and Medicare Advantage through network partnerships with Sarasota Memorial and First Physicians Group.

Bright HealthCare will expand its reach into Sarasota to reach additional eligible customers in the coming year. Bright HealthCare Florida market President Jon Gavras said, “We are thrilled to announce our new Care Partner: Sarasota Memorial Hospital & First Physicians Group.” “Sarasota Memorial Hospital is now part of our network. Bright HealthCare continues expanding partnerships that are crucial to make healthcare more accessible, local, and personal for Floridians. Sarasota Memorial Hospital and First Physicians Group continue accepting other health plans in addition to Bright HealthCare.

The Medicare annual enrollment period is from October 15 to December 7, for coverage starting January 1, 2022. Individuals interested in Marketplace plans can openly enroll from November 1, 2021 to January 15, 2022. Consumers who sign up by December 15th are eligible to start coverage January 1, 2022.
