Lamoille Health Partners entered into a contract to purchase Family Practice Associates. This independent primary care provider is located at 272 North Main Street, Cambridge, Vermont. The transaction, pending final regulatory approvals, will add a third location of a family medicine practice to the growing Lamoille Quality Care Network.

The acquisition is in line with Lamoille’s commitment to expanding consumer access to wellness and health services throughout the Lamoille valley to create healthy communities.

Under May’s leadership Lamoille Health Partners grew significantly, affecting the lives of many more members of the community than ever before. More than 19,000 people rely on Lamoille Health Partners for their healthcare. The federal Health Resources and Services Administration and the National Committee for Quality Assurance have recognized the dedicated FQHC for its notable achievements in areas such as access, quality and health equity. They also recognize the organization’s contributions to health information technology and COVID-19 emergency public health response. Lamoille Health Partners is ranked among the top 30 percent of HRSA-supported centers in terms of overall clinical performance.

The acquisition should be completed by October 2023. Family Practice Associates, with its team and support staff of health professionals in the current location, will continue to provide care for patients and be rebranded Lamoille Health Family Medicine Cambridge.
