Glad you’re listening to Aspect Radio. We’re a movie talk show from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa that features reviews, industry news, informed discussion and interviews with local and national film enthusiasts, filmmakers, critics and other personalities on both sides of the medium.

So far, we’ve had six shows since my hiatus after “Reeling” back in 2008. Guests have included critic Glenn Kenny, author Cathleen Falsani and several past contributors who bring a ton of knowledge and passion to the table. Look for more terrific guests to join us each week.

We broadcast live on Saturdays at 9 a.m. on 90.7-FM in Tuscaloosa. Sadly, there is currently no internet stream, so if you’re out of town, you can’t listen live. Thank goodness for podcasts! They usually go up a few hours after the broadcast, so keep an eye out.

A brief introduction to your hosts:

Ben Flanagan was the entertainment editor at the UA newspaper The Crimson White and program director for 90.7-FM. He is currently a journalist in Alabama, and he writes an entertainment column for the Tuscaloosa News which you can find every Friday. Visit his blog Ben Around.

Corey Craft also worked as CW entertainment editor as well as editor-in-chief of the same publication. He is currently editor of the Corolla yearbook for UA and also writes a DVD column for the Tuscaloosa News on Fridays. Corey also frequently contributes to CHUD.com.
