Ben and Corey catch up on a handful of new film releases, including blockbusters like “The Hunger Games” and foreign independent movies like “The Kid with a Bike.”

They both enjoyed the smash hit “Hunger Games,” noting it’s smarter than your average studio action adventure, regardless of its place in the young adult adaptation genre. This ain’t “Twilight.”

The guys then turn to “Goon,” a profane and violent hockey comedy about a simple-minded but kind enforcer who finally finds his direction in life — busting skulls on the ice. Ben calls it his favorite movie of 2012 so far.

Ben’s brother and Bloomberg network producer Graham Flanagan pops in for a look at what’s in limited release, giving positive reviews to the Dardenne Brothers’ “The Kid with a Bike” as well as the buzzed-about action extravaganza “The Raid: Redemption.”

The guys also talk a little about “Wrath of the Titans” as well as what’s new on DVD.
