Ben talks briefly with Tuscaloosa-born and New York-based photographer Miller Mobley who shot the above portrait of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, who passed away at 46 on Sunday.


Mobley reflects on the shoot, which took place last February when Hoffman was doing press for his film “A Late Quartet,” along with co-star Christopher Walken.


The photographer goes into detail about Hoffman’s behavior on set during the brief window of opportunity he had to shoot one of the best portraits of his young career.
