[01:10] We’re currently in the midst of the global Covid-19 pandemic where hospitals and health care providers are struggling to care for an enormous amount of patients, let alone the deluge of patients that flooded our healthcare system within the past few weeks. There are so many tools out there, such as Cloud and AI, which can empower our physicians and healthcare workers to deliver better care, yet it does not look like people are adopting them. What are the challenges physicians and healthcare providers face with regard to leveraging existing technologies to deliver better and more efficient patient care?

[02:10] The reason why we have not found a cure for Covid-19 is that we do not understand the underlying pathophysiology.

[02:57] There is a lack of available tissue to properly understand the pathophysiology of Covid-19.

[03:29] What’s the biggest challenge in finding a cure for Covid-19?

[04:06] To cure Covid-19, we need to understand how it works. And to do that, we need to be able to access patient data from all over the world. We can’t limit ourselves to just a local population.
