In today's show, we share how you can unlock a DJI drone. Alternatively, we also discuss if you should consider switching to a non-DJI drone like the Autel Evo to circumvent this issue.
Our caller is frustrated since he is unable to unlock his DJI drone. As you may now, DJI updated their geofencing to Geo V2.0 which places greater restrictions on drone pilots. Now, drone pilots who have upgraded to Geo V2.0 on their DJI drones need LAANC & DJI approval to fly near an airport. Understandably, some drone pilots are not happy with this.
We discuss if you should consider switching to a non-DJI drone to avoid this issue. We recommend the Autel Evo to our caller.
