In Japanese entertainment news, guitarist for the Visual Kei band Synk;yet has been fired from the group. On the 30th of January it was announced the Rino has had his contracted terminated, primarily for 2 reasons: since 2015 he had been in contacted with other labels in regards to musical activities and he had been in private contact with the bands’ fans, asking them for money.
The band was due for a comeback with bassist Shiori after his fight with malignant lymphoma on the 4th of May this year. Unfortunately it looks like it will only go ahead with the 4 remaining members.

Korean boy group, B.I.G (Boys in Groove) are set to have a comeback in February after a 9 month hiatus. The song ‘1,2,3’ was co-produced by composer Premo who also produced SEVENTEEN’s single ‘Adore U’. The tack is set to be released on the 13th of February, with GH Entertainment making the following statement: ‘has been working hard to return with a new image. Please look forward to it.’

On February 1st GD confessed he has been struggling with his New Year’s resolution to quit smoking.
