The equinox — which translates roughly in Latin to “equal night” — is when the sun sits vertically above the equator, making day and night equal across the planet. here in the northern hemisphere we're starting spring!  the opposite is true the southern hemisphere...they are entering autumn.  Many cultures celebrate with spring festivals, such as Easter and Passover. celebrate by by bringing some flowers into your home.
