Join Blues Man Douglas "The Chef" Rapier for this weekly Blues Hour at the  Diner. We will explore the roots, stems and branches of this thing called he Blues.  He blends his vast musical knowledge with his love of the blues. Each week he will take us on a musical journey as only Brother Doug can do!   WEEK 4's Competition, join here  Douglas C. Rapier was born in a little log cabin he helped his father build in Kankakee, Illinois. Soon after, he whittled a guitar out of firewood and taught himself to play simple tunes. He comes to us from Taipei Taiwan. A member of the Chicago  blues BoPoMoFo. He is the founder of Blues Society of Taiwan.   DCR, has been a long contributor to ArtSees Diner.  Recently authored his first e-publication, Ovoid Illinois.
