Performance artist Gypsee Yo is a slam poem champion whose work attempts to blur the lines between genres. She's toured world-wide and has been featured on numerous programs, including Snap Judgement. She's looked into the face of poverty, evil, and devastation, and lived to tell the countless stories. In this episode of Arts Underground, she shares a few of those - as well as some stories of joy and hope - with us.
