On today’s episode Hilary sits down with Susan Marett, an entrepreneur who has been there, done that, lived to tell the tale with nearly 20 years of experience. But she’ll also tell you that she doesn’t know it all, she’s still learning, and she still has big dreams for what lies ahead.

Susan Marett has passionately resolved dog and puppy problems since 1999 through her company Purely Positive. She’s a dedicated and certified trainer and separation anxiety specialist, providing relief from isolation distress to clients around the world.

Like many entrepreneurs, Susan juggles her career, spouse, kids, and everyday responsibilities. And while she loves it all—she knows that clients don’t have time for mountains of homework or tasks that don’t address their dog’s specific training needs. Clients love her compassionate but practical approach.

We explore these hot topics!

That your business is more important than one client
Being an INFJ (Myers Briggs) and what that’s taught her about how she interacts with the world
Taking criticism with grace
Following the golden rule, especially when it comes to online reviews!
Remember that it’s not always about you (shocker!)
The intersection of women’s rights & entrepreneurship
The power of choice
