Although there are many artists who would publicly say they don't care about not having gallery representation, and prefer the independence of going it on their own, several (if not all) of those artists would privately be ecstatic if they could get into a gallery. I am one of those.
Amy Stock, the founder/curator of Kennedy Grace Gallery in Long Beach would like to convert all artists over to this way of thinking, but with a new perspective on how galleries can work, and where they can be shown.
