It is Friday, and we have a brand new episode out of the Armed & Ready Podcast!
In today’s episode, we have guest Tony Tervainen, Navy Veteran, and now non-profit CEO of STEP.
We discussed Tony´s experiences in the Navy, what it was like going to Nuclear Power School, his Submarine life, and his deployment overseas. We also discuss a common interest, the lack of support and resources veterans receive when transitioning out of the military. Tony also explained how volunteering for military families got him into non-profits, and finally his own organization, STEP.
I really respect what Tony and STEP are doing to help our military community, so make sure you give it a listen!
