Reading Deuteronomy 30:11-20 (NLT) ~ Scripture reading followed by discussion. From the beginning, the way was the same, die to your selfish nature, love God and love people. Romans 8:6, letting your sinful nature control you mind leads to death, but letting the spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. Not letting distractions keep you from the call of God to Love God, love people, and go make disciples. Jesus was always pointing people to the Father, and we are called to “walk in His ways”. God providing the space for repentance. Romans 8:7, the sinful nature is hostile towards God and starts with defining right and wrong in our own terms.
