One View of Vermont’s Future - Kevin Chu of Vermont Futures Project

Kevin Chu is Executive Director of the Vermont Futures Project  People from throughout the United States can access their thoughtful and well researched information in order to make the case for workforce, middle market, affordable and any other form of housing needed.  

The core goal driving the work of the organization is to increase Vermont’s population while providing good housing to a more diverse population.  The information provided by the project goes well beyond just addressing housing.   

Like many rural states Vermont’s demographic changes are placing pressure on communities and every system that drives a population.

Our conversation brought us together to discuss not only housing from a development and economic standpoint but from a perspective of what’s fair and what’s right for rural citizens of Vermont, immigrants and those US citizens eying Vermont as their land of opportunity.
