Episode 4 of "Are You Afraid of the Podcast" looks at The Tale of the Twisted Claw. This take off of the famous Monkey's Paw parable finds two youths that receive a wooden raven's claw with the ability to grant them three wishes. As they start to come true, the wishes have some severely unintended consequences for those around them. As the kids dig the hole of their wishes deeper, they must come up with a way to set things right while also appeasing the local witch that cursed them in the first place. While the episode has very few genuine horror scares, the moral of the story remains poignant relevant to a society that constantly wants instant gratification without regard for what it takes to achieve it. Sara and Jeremy break it all down.
