Scholars and skeptics have pointed out several “problems” in Luke's account of Jesus' birth. This week we will dive into these problems. Indeed, there are a few historical points that even make Christian scholars think and have to dig into the history more. However, these "problems" in Luke do not give us cause for concern once studied. Instead, they're an opportunity to learn and do more research into the time of Jesus’ birth. When we do so, we see there is no reason to seriously doubt Luke's account.

Issues discussed from Luke 2:1-5:

The timing of the census

The timing of Quirinius' governorship

The need for pregnant Mary to return to Bethlehem for the census at all
