Episode 182 -Let Me See Your Last Guardian!

This episode is the first time our show has fallen on Christmas Day itself and, as we're only recording fortnightly (or bi-weekly) Ant and Tom thought it would be nice to do a full-length show instead of those mini episodes that usually appear between Christmas and New Year.

Oh yeah, Ant's back!

Unfortunately, he's been so busy he's not seen half the stuff Tom has managed to fit into the last two months so can't go in to depth about certain things. Westworld is discussed, especially the music used in the episodes and the quality of the production as Tom can't talk about the plot in any great detail. Arrival is also a film Tom saw in the last few weeks, but cant talk about as, not only has he not seen the film, Ant is reading the book of short stories the film is based on. But this does add some extra detail to the appreciation of both the book and the film.

Of course, the reason Ant has been away is because he was renovation his new house before moving in, so the trials and tribulations of moving house and decorating are covered.

Additionally, many movie and game trailers have been released in the meantime including Assassin's Creed, Spider-Man Homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, The Last of Us Part 2, Rogue One and more. 2017 looks like it will be a good year in the cinema and at home, although Rogue One has become the victim of Trump supporters as they think the film is anti-Trump in some way, rather than anti-fascist... erm...

Ant has played a new game, The Last Guardian, which quickly becomes a euphemism!

We also find out why we kiss under the mistletoe, because it's Christmas, right? (We may have forgot along the way, what with catching up and everything!)
