Many people don’t realize that the big bang isn’t just a story of the past, but it’s also a story of the future.
You see, the big bang teaches that the universe will expand forever yet eventually run out of usable energy. According to the story, it’ll stay that way forever. This is called “heat death.”
But that’s not the future the Bible describes! It says the world will be judged and remade. Paradise will be restored.
Many Christians add the big bang origins story to the Bible, but they ignore the story of the future the big bang presents. But why? It’s inconsistent!
Instead of selectively adopting the world’s ideas, we need to start with God’s Word.
