Why doubt the New Testament? We have twenty-six thousand manuscripts—from within fifty years of the original. It can be trusted.
This is Ken Ham, head of the ministry that built a full-size Noah’s Ark south of Cincinnati.
Some scholars claim we can’t possibly know what the New Testament authors wrote since we don’t have their original writings. But we can compare all the copies of the Bible manuscripts we have, to see where they disagree—and figure out what the original said. The more copies the better. .
Now, no one doubts that we have the writings of Plato, who lived before Christ—even though we only have seven copies from over a thousand years later—or Julius Caesar of ancient Rome with his few writings—that date nine hundred years after his death. .
