Earlier this year, my home country of Australia was rocked by intense wildfires. Firefighters worked hard to save lives, property, and wildlife including a tree known as the Wollemi pine.

Earlier this year, my home country of Australia was rocked by intense wildfires. Firefighters worked hard to save lives, property, and wildlife including a tree known as the Wollemi pine.
Now, why is this tree so special? Well, one scientist said discovering it was like finding a dinosaur walking around!
You see, this tree was thought to have gone extinct millions of years ago … until a park ranger found them growing in a remote part of Australia! Somehow, they hadn’t evolved in millions of years!
Well, this tree didn’t live millions of years ago. But it did live at the time of the dinosaurs—and that was only a few thousand years ago, according to the Word of God.
