Say the name "Lorraine Hansberry" - and probably what comes to mind is the play "A Raisin in the Sun". Ms. Hansberry was the first African American woman to write a play performed on Broadway. Or that she wrote of her lesbian lifestyle under her initials only so she would not face discrimination?
