Quallcom announced the new Quickcharge 5 protocol and hardware  with 70% efficiency gains and 100w charging  this beast of a system will allow 50 in 5 ! meaning 50% charge in 5 minutes !!! without hurting your batteries lifespan. Great news and a heap of big companies looking to jump on this horse as it will mean some big things for  phone and laptop market! 

The big Sony release last night was actually just a video followed by  huge  influencer release. I think the one thing i got out of it was this is a video camera not for stills. Its low light performance is insane  and the video options  are fantastic  with out a doubt kicked the R5 to the curb in regards to video! But  unless your shooting astro  and need light the 12 mp sensor is pretty crappy for any sort of photography. The ibis is ok but no where near as good as canons offerings so you will still need a gimbal  for it.  the card slots  were brilliant and def a better way to look at it , but they added a usb-c port but for some stupid reason they don let you record directly to a portable ssd drive WTF?? thats just plain dumb  same for canon its stupid  and very disappointing  only Black magic will let you do it with their new video camera. This would negate need for cf express cards and multiple cards you would just need one card as a permanent back up  incase your ssd drive fails for corrupted ! And he price $5700 australian  for usb a video camera with poor stabilisation mmmm. Why wouldn't you just get  a sony for-ax700 very similar specs inbuilt nd filters 4k HDR and 1000 fps  and only $2000 brand new ??? i just don understand, i did ask the question and  i got features and lenses , well features is rubbish the 700 has pretty much the same  and if not better  how many vloggers shoot with primes or change lenses in between shoots , and the sony have zeiss lenses on their cameras so im sure would be spot the dog . i think its  that hybrid thinking  but as most vloggers aren doing any photos they are really hurting their wallets and themselves by not just buying an actual pro video camera!
