The evil forces of M. Bison (this time played by the late, great Raul Julia) have returned to plague our podcast once again. Today's Sinister Six pick is none other than 1994's Street Fighter, the less-loved but cheesier counterpart to the Street Fighter II anime film. This version puts the spotlight on Colonel Guile as he fights to free hostages from M. Bison's villainous grip. Chun-Li Zang, joined by enters the fray in order to avenge her father. Ryu Hoshi and Ken Master also get tangled up in things while trying to con arms dealer Victor Sagat. Guile's friend and fellow solider Carlos Blanca is also being held by Bison, with Dr. Dhalsim performing genetic experiments on him. As the battle rages on, this band of fighters from the streets start to resemble the characters we know and love. The conflict reaches its peak at M. Bison's Shadowloo headquarters, which has no shortage of TV screens and branded merchandise. We strongly advise our listeners to invest in Bison Bucks (and avoid getting sued by the U.N.) for today's sinister installment of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake!
