Our latest Sinister Selection series continues with another so-bad-it's-probably-bad cinematic event. Babylon falls and Gotham City rises to take its place. 1997's Batman & Robin is a famously controversial movie, and is cited by many as one of the worst films of all time. But is it really that bad, or have the hearts of critics simple gone cold? The story focuses on the Dynamic Duo of Batman and Robin as they attempt to work as a team. Gotham City is being threatened by the ever-punny Mr. Freeze, who plans on stealing enough diamonds to power his greatest weapon. Meanwhile, a mutated botanist known as Poison Ivy arrives on the scene with a rather soft-spoken Bane in tow. Batman might have to expand his team (and get his house in order) in order to stand a chance against these villains. Be sure to grab your rocks, buy some snow cones, and pay off your Bat Credit Card for today's, uh, toyetic episode of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake.
