This week we dive back into the world of sports anime! Production I. G's latest project "Ao Ashi" sort of took the anime community by storm becoming one of the definite "dark horses" of the Spring and Summer 2022 anime seasons. Yūgo Kobayashi's work follows the journey of Ashito Aoi and his passion and love for the sport of fútbol or "soccer" in America's case. Through his journey, we see all of the determination and motivation that it takes to become a professional player. Do we think "Ao Ashi" is as good as other sports anime?
