Martina Scarpelli is an Italian filmmaker living in Denmark. She studied Fine Art at the “Academy of Brera” in Milan, and later animation at the “Experimental Center of Cinematography” in Turin. She participated in Animation sans frontieres, as well as in Anidox:Lab and Residency.
Her sensitive short film "Egg" won numerous prizes, including the Jean-Luc Xiberras award for a first film at Annecy Festival. Besides her films, she works on commissions, such as the mezmerizing music video "A little too much" for Kai, and the bright videogame "Mazeout" dealing with eating disorders.
She lately started working as a producer and collaborates with Late Love productions, to develop her personal projects, such as her upcoming feature film.
