For today's reflection, Rev Amy reads excerpts about baptism from an essay by The Rt Rev J Neil Alexander, "On Sacraments and Sundays," from our book, Common Prayer.  We highly recommend Bishop Alexander's whole essay for anyone interested in learning more about baptism and the Eucharist and how Sundays shape our lives as followers of Jesus in the Episcopal and Anglican tradition. Today, we keep with the theme of baptism that we've been reflecting on starting this past Sunday, the Baptism of our Lord.

Bishop Alexander is a bishop in the Episcopal Church and is professor of liturgy and the Quintard Professor of Theology at the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN.

Thank you for joining us today.
