"Juliet, Naked", "What Keeps You Alive", "The Little Stranger": A New Release Episode. Join Jess and Andrew for another trip to the Cineplex. This week, Jess was stuck in the books, so Andrew ended up seeing a couple of these alone. This doesn't mean Jess isn't a part of the conversation, though. Like with Solo, Andrew explains "Juliet, Naked" to Jess, as she has an opinion on the type of film "Juliet" turned into, and the trend in film that is similar to it.
Andrew also saw the new IFC Midnight movie solo at the Arena Cinelounge. This was the best of the three films, and it's a real shame Jess didn't get a chance to see it. Can't wait for it to come to VOD so she can experience it too.
Jess's film of the weekend was "The Little Stranger". Judging by the attendance in our screening, we were some of the very few who saw this film. The audience may have been smarter than us for avoiding it.
