Preparing for the October/Shocktober season, the vault is being cleared. Films covered are:
In the Mouth of Madness- Jess and I cover the last great film John Carpenter has made so far. This one is streaming on Shudder, and is a must see for all Carpenter/Horror fans.
Phantasm- The 1979 classic has a restored version on Shudder, and holds its place in the annals of Horror history.
Emelie- Every parents worst nightmare is contained within this little indie thriller streaming on Netflix.
Pyewacket- In the wake of "Hereditary" we uncovered some other gems involving conjurings. This was a standout.
Odd Thomas- Fun film from Anton Yelchin on Netflix.
House on Willow Street- A film on Netflix with some great cover art, and nice horror effects to match
I Saw the Devil- A fantastic game of cat and mouse, a Korean thriller that would hold its own against "Silence of the Lambs".
