Deeply Troubled and Afraid: The Lord is With Us

We continue to focus on the Spirit of Christmas during this Advent season as we remember the hope we have in knowing the Lord has come. 

In this episode, Dr. Gadson discusses another excerpt from the devotional “Reflections on the Life of Mary."   She focuses on the emotions expressed by Mary even after being told the Lord is with her.  Mary was deeply troubled and afraid when Gabriel greeted her.

Isn’t it assuring to know that although we may not feel in the “Christmas spirit”, the Lord is still with us.  Even when we are deeply troubled and afraid, we have hope in the fact The Spirit of Christmas is here with us!
