When you grow up in a war torn part of the world you have big dreams.  Big dreams like creating art, designing video games, or the 1 in 10,000,000 chance you can collaborate with James Hetfield.  That’s exactly was Petar Milivojevic from Serbia did.  All of the above !

Reaching out to one of James’ custom guitar makers Ken Lawrence, Petar got a quick response and started submitting graphic ideas for custom fretboards.  The Day That Never Comes started with a phone call of Ken telling Petar to sit down as there was some big news to share.  We know how the rest goes.  The “Carl 3132” guitar was born and we can all thank Petar for an amazing work of art.  Art that is “historic” to most die hard Metallica fans.
