Monique Hodgson is the founder of Mumble Forum, a global networking platform which aims to build a supportive community of sisterhood, where women can network and celebrate each other’s success, as well as redefine the perception of motherhood.

Monique and I explore the challenges faced by working mothers, reflecting on biases, labelling, and limitations placed on women as they enter the season of motherhood.

We talk about expectations and preparations for motherhood, planning and prioritising for a balanced life, and discover practical strategies for avoiding burnout and finding fulfilment.

We also discuss the importance of women advocating for each other, how more women in senior leadership positions can affect systematic change, how men (clearly) need women, and how women have a power of influence in raising the next generation.
