Like many women, Rachel Carrell realised how impossible childcare is in London after becoming a mother.

Having honed her leadership skills at McKinsey and health tech she decided to fix this broken system that doesn’t have mothers or childcare workers in mind, and founded Koru Kids.

Many women in the UK struggle to return to work or make career choices they don’t want based on their limited childcare options.

Koru Kids aims to challenge and change all that.

Rachel is passionate about having women rise to the most senior leadership roles, where they can continue to make an impact on legislations, policies, and systems that ensure female voices are heard and accounted for.

A passion I share wholeheartedly.

I felt very fortunate to have met Rachel to learn about the way she runs her business, how she is creating a system where it doesn’t exist, and her obsession with making childcare a career to be proud of.
