Depression used to be a reoccuring part of my life. I treated the episodes like colds or fevers. I didn't know that depression could be overcome and once I learnt that it could, I didn't know how to do it.

In this solo show I talk about how I took the time to understand my own depression and how that helped me to move on with my life as a person with a healthy mind and soul.

Here is a short overview of the process I used:

1. Feel your feelings, don't run from them

2. Write down your feelings, thoughts, and dreams

3. Ask the right questions

Here is a list of stories, poems, and books mentioned:

1. The Myth of Odin and the World Tree

2. The Dark Night of the Soul by Saint John of the Cross

3. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

4. The Hero with the Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell

5. Man and His Symbol by Carl Jung

6. Conversations with God by Neal Donald Walsch

7. 12 Rules for Life by Jordan Peterson

8. The Woman Code by Alisa Vitti

9. Grain Brain by Dr. David Perlmutter
