Here to bridge that gap is our guest, Kristen Burton, who's worked both as an analyst and a legal assistant. Kristen shares how she transitioned between the roles, their similarities and differences, and how both play a role in the criminal justice system. Kristen’s badge story involves her use of geofencing to narrow down the search of her suspect during an investigation. Kristen elaborates on the nuances of the court system and how those compare and contrast with the law enforcement system. Kristen is currently a legal assistant / paralegal with the City of Branson Municipal Government.
