Note: In memory of George Floyd there is not intro music and we immediately get to the conversation.

This week we get uncomfortable. In light of the recent murder of George Floyd and in the midst of unrest we decided to have an open dialogue about it all! Eve and invite The Mandy Burnett to talk activists, allies, and Black Lives Matter.  We originally had a pre-recorded an episode on Identify Fusion in mass groups but we felt we could not go forward with that conversation without it being dismissive to current events. We ask each other some hard questions and help each other gain perspective.

Mandy Burnett is a Momentum Building Speaker, a  Creative Solutions Coach for women, and author of the upcoming book, I Think I’m Doing This Wrong. She is the oldest daughter in a blended family of six girls and is now raising her own blended family of six with her best friend and love of her life. Growing up Mormon she excelled at being who she was supposed to be and was a fierce defender of the status quo. But there was always something that felt not quite right. Only after uprooting her life at 31 through divorce, leaving the church and moving hundreds of miles away was she able to find herself and her true feelings outside of the system she grew up in. She is an ally, a lover, sometimes a fighter and mostly fun. And she's ready for hard conversations from the flip side.
